Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, my childhood was pretty charmed. I grew up in an insanely loving upper middle class Jewish-ish household.

When I was 6, I told my parents I wanted to be a Fly Girl on “In Living Color,” so they signed me up for hip hop dance classes (I’m still taking them weekly, for the record.) 

​

When I was 10, I told my parents I wanted to be on TV, so they helped me get an agent and shuttled me to auditions and shoots. 

​

When I was 17, I decided I wanted to go to college for musical theater.  For about a week my parents tried to convince me to go to med school, because my Bubbe offered to pay for any of her grandchildren’s schooling who chose the path of medicine. When I rejected their proposal for the hundredth time, they shipped me off to The Boston Conservatory to earn my BFA in Musical Theater.

I graduated college and moved to New York City to pursue my Broadway dreams. 

​

I worked as a hostess at Feinstein's, a swanky cabaret establishment. I got to see how the other half truly lives.

​

I was a nanny. That was tiring. 

​

I got a job at lululemon, so I could support myself fully and have some sense of stability. 

​

I had a boyfriend, and then had my heart broken, and then religiously took yoga to get over said break up, and then found improv.

Which leads us to where I am today:

 

I am member of an all female-identifying improv team, The Sister Wives. I regularly write with my teammate- turned writing partner, Eileen Hanley. I write on my own. I meal prep like a boss. I shop, a lot. I am ready for any opportunity to create that comes my way.
